• At least 10 mountain take-offs
•   Good ground handling skills.
• Atlanta Paragliding P-1 students will be required to have at least 20 tow flights, 8 hours of ground handling plus good spot landing skills. Additionally, these students will be restricted to mornings and evening flying, depending on conditions.
• A 2 meter band radio, reserve parachute and helmet will also be required. We also recommend having a vario.

• 7:30 AM to 9 AM - Theory session (Thursday and Friday)
• 10 AM to 7 PM -   Flights under radio guidance with shuttles to launch-site every 2 hours
• 8 PM to 9 PM - Videos from the day. This activity can also be done at midday if conditions are too strong, and will be done early in the morning on Sunday.

• 2 PM to 3 PM - Videos from the day
• 5 PM to 8 PM - Flying at Somerville Lake
• 1 PM to 3 PM on Sunday - debrief and last Theory class + possible flights until the evening

Our daily is schedule subject to change, depending on weather conditions.
We will also do the 4 hour theory session on June 28 th from 5 PM to 9 PM at APE.
